School-going youth
Pupils, high-school graduates and students
Hands-on internships on the farm during the holidays, discovering livestock, vegetable and digital-agriculture careers, career guidance.
Training · Capacity building
FAMZ was born in a rural school that combined theory and practice. It now wants to pass that on: training school-going and out-of-school young people, with priority for girls and women, in farming, livestock, fish farming, food processing and digital agriculture.
Who for?
Pupils, high-school graduates and students
Hands-on internships on the farm during the holidays, discovering livestock, vegetable and digital-agriculture careers, career guidance.
No diploma or left school early
Learning by doing, in small groups, to gain a rural trade that can be used straight away: raising, producing, processing, selling.
Priority in every programme
At least 40% women among participants, schedules compatible with family responsibilities, focus on processing and sales, which generate income quickly.
The tracks
Each pathway takes place on the farm, hands-on, with qualified professionals. Trainees do not enter animal production areas without a biosecurity protocol.
Managing a batch of laying hens, feeding, health, vaccination, hygiene, egg collection and packaging.
Sowing, transplanting, grow-bag and shade-net cultivation, water-saving irrigation, crop protection.
Water quality, feeding, growth monitoring, grading, harvesting and selling fish.
Formulation from local maize, soy and oilcake, mixing, storage and quality control.
Adding value to farm products (eggs, vegetables, fresh, smoked or dried fish), hygiene, packaging and labelling: a track designed first and foremost for women.
Records on phones and in the ERP, batch monitoring, costing, online sales, then sensors and decision-support tools.
Cost price calculation, cash, pricing, customer relations, starting a small business.
Special focus
Processing and selling farm products quickly generate income. FAMZ programmes aim to give girls and women hygiene and preservation techniques, costing tools and market access, so that part of the production of the farm and neighbouring producers becomes lasting income.
These processing modules are in preparation: their content will be defined with an accredited training body.

Timeline
The KAPOLO projects
FAMZ is part of a set of projects led by the founder under the name KAPOLO, in tribute to Kapolondougou.
The practice ground: poultry, vegetables, fish farming, feed and processing, with real data tracked in the ERP.
African Institute of Online Health Care: distance training in health, public-health and digital-health professions, with the ambition of a practical campus.
Project in preparation: sensors, controlled irrigation, image-based crop-disease detection, medical kits, and an academy to train young people to design these tools.
FAMZ is not an accredited training institution: any certification will be issued by an accredited body partnering with the programme.
